About our program
HCA Florida Westside/ Northwest Hospitals (ACGME ID# 1411114014) is pleased to offer our ACGME accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. Our general Cardiovascular Fellowship will be focused on clinical cardiology including both acute and chronic conditions. Our fellowship curriculum encompasses: Cardiac Cath, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Advanced Heart Failure, Advanced Imaging, ICU, and Structural Heart Disease. Weekly continuity clinic allows fellows to build progressive autonomy. Didactics along with Grand Rounds and Journal Club are integrated into the curriculum. Beyond COCATS requirements, we are committed to helping tailor your training to help achieve your personal career goals.
Welcome from our program director
As Program Director, it is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to the HCA Florida Westside/ Northwest Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program. Our ACGME accredited three-year fellowship program spans 2 nearby campuses serving Broward County: HCA Northwest Hospital (Margate, Florida) and HCA Westside Hospital (Plantation, Florida).
Our Fellows are fully integrated into the entire spectrum of cardiovascular care. As faculty, we are committed to supporting and mentoring each fellow so that they may achieve their personal career goals, whether that is future subspecialty training or general cardiology. Our goal as faculty in this program is to deliver excellent clinical training as well as provide the additional tools to be successful contemporary cardiologists, while embodying, above all else, compassion and kindness.
