John T. Riehl, MD
John Riehl, MD is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in complex fracture care. He attended California Lutheran University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry with high honors. Dr. Riehl completed medical school at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency in rural Pennsylvania at Geisinger Medical Center. Dr. Riehl became heavily involved in orthopaedic research during his residency, where he published 11 research papers and 3 textbook chapters on topics ranging from foot disorders to multiligamentous knee injuries.
Dr. Riehl received subspecialty training in fracture care at Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he cultivated his expertise in pelvic and acetabular surgery and trained to perform direct anterior hip replacement surgery. After his fellowship, he went into practice at the University of Louisville, where he was an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery and was quickly made the associate residency program director. Dr. Riehl received the prestigious award of the Best Faculty Educator of the residents two years in a row while at the University of Louisville.
From Louisville Dr. Riehl brought his medical practice to Pensacola, Florida where he served the gulf coast for nearly 7 years. During this time Dr. Riehl also traveled part time and held the position of director of orthopaedic trauma at a trauma center in eastern Kentucky. Additionally, he was named to the editorial board of an orthopaedic journal, and to the review board of two others.

Adam Breceda, MD
Dr. Breceda completed medical school and an internship in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He then moved to New York City for his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He concluded his training with an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Minnesota – Regions Hospital.
During his fellowship year, Dr. Breceda received extensive training in complex fracture care, including fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum (hip socket), upper and lower extremities, scapula (shoulder blade) and rib injuries, as well as management of nonunion and malunion (fractures that fail to heal or heal in poor alignment).
Following fellowship, Dr. Breceda stayed on staff at Regions Hospital as an attending orthopaedic trauma surgeon and an assistant professor for the University of Minnesota. He is happy to return home and provide expert fracture care to the North Texas region.
