About Our Program
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital offers one of Florida's most dynamic and high-volume training environments for aspiring advanced endoscopists. As the largest HCA hospital in the state we serve as the central referral hub for complex GI care, receiving transfers from across Florida. This creates an exceptional training landscape with unparalleled case diversity and volume.
As a fellow, you will train directly under two highly experienced leaders in interventional endoscopy, gaining extensive hands-on experience across the full spectrum of advanced procedures. Fellows can expect:
- High-volume pancreatico-biliary exposure, including some of the most complex cases in the region
- Mastery of tissue resection, luminal stenting, and endoscopic closure
- Training in endoscopic bariatric procedures
- Meaningful exposure to third-space endoscopy, including POEM and ESD
Our program is uniquely positioned within a busy community teaching hospital, offering you a firsthand understanding of how to build and run a thriving advanced endoscopy private practice. Fellows participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborate closely with subspecialists across the system, strengthening both clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
Our goal is simple: to equip you with the skill, confidence, and independence needed to launch your own high-level advanced endoscopy practice immediately after fellowship. If you're seeking comprehensive, high-volume, expert-guided training in a supportive and innovative environment, HCA Florida North Florida Hospital offers an unparalleled opportunity to grow into the advanced endoscopist you aspire to be.
