Program overview

Program Vision

The HCA Sunrise Health GME Consortium's Obstetrics & Gynecology Resident Training Program at HCA MountainView Hospital is part of the growing national HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education Program. The OBGYN program is based at HCA MountainView Hospital, a community hospital program providing healthcare to a diverse and expanding population in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our goal is to train the next generation of obstetrician-gynecologists to meet the changing demands of medicine in the 21st century, to become outstanding clinician-surgeons who practice humanistic medicine and are prepared to enter careers in private, public or academic organizations.

Highlights

Our program embraces a collaborative and collegial approach where residents and faculty actively contribute in shaping the curriculum and program improvements. In addition to our residents’ clinical training, we are committed to equipping our residents with the skills and knowledge needed for career success and leadership within our field. To support this, we emphasize key areas such as career development; fostering an inclusive and equitable environment; leadership development; quality improvement; advocacy; and professionalism.
