    Residency & Fellowship Program Overview

    At Corpus Christi Medical Center - Bay Area, the graduate medical educational training and environment prepares our residents for a lifetime of learning.

    Designed for the medical school graduate who intends to enter Internal Medicine, Dermatology or Internal Medicine Fellowships in Cardiology or Pulmonary Medicine – the programs provide training in the highest level of patient care in operating rooms, clinics, and on surgical floors. Rotating services include all inpatient and ambulatory care departments.

    Corpus Christi Medical Center graduates gain the experience necessary to practice in a wide variety of specialties in academic and private settings. We are affiliated with the Texas OPTI through the University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth, Texas.

    Corpus Christi Medical Center has been approved for institutional accreditation through the ACGME. The Internal Medicine program received continued accreditation through ACGME. The dermatology program, cardiology and pulmonary medicine fellowships have all received initial accreditation.
