HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital is a 215-bed facility located in beautiful St. Petersburg, on the west coast of Florida. St. Petersburg is an exciting city that has lots to offer. It is a peninsula city bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the west and Tampa Bay to the east. The area offers more than 35 miles of beautiful beaches which provide spectacular sunsets, among other activities. It is within minutes of many popular Florida attractions: just 30 minutes to Busch Gardens in Tampa and 90 minutes to Walt Disney World Resort, Sea World and Universal Studios in Orlando. In addition, it’s home to world-renowned museums and art galleries, as well as several professional sports teams, including the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and Tampa Bay Lightning. It offers ACGME accredited residency programs in Family Medicine and Transitional Year. The newly renovated resident suite contains sleep rooms, common kitchen and den areas as well as a conference room and gym.
