HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a 340-bed, state-of-the-art, all-private-room hospital serves a fast-growing upscale community in Florida's tri-county area of Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. HCA FL Trinity Hospital is a short drive to entertainment, restaurants, theme parks, natural springs, beaches and Tampa International airport. In June of 2022 the facility opened the brand-new Graduate Medical Education space including a state-of-the-art conference centers, a fully loaded simulation lab, spacious resident’s lounge and a small gym. Statutory teaching hospital
HCA Florida Trinity Hospital is a designated Statutory Teaching Hospital by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). This designation means that HCA Florida Trinity Hospital provides clinical education and training to future and current doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals in addition to delivering medical care to patients. HCA Florida Trinity hospital is affiliated with The University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Attending physicians must stay on top of the latest medical developments in order to teach medical students, residents, fellows, and students. HCA Florida Trinity Hospital has a comprehensive graduate medical education department. Currently there are five graduate medical education programs at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, including Diagnostic Radiology, Internal Medicine, and Transitional Year residency programs; and Cardiovascular Disease, and Rheumatology fellowship programs. Additionally HCA Florida Trinity Hospital hosts rotations for General Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynecology residencies.
