HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is a 207-bed full-service hospital that has been serving Florida's Treasure Coast community with quality care for more than 30 years. The range of services include a child-friendly, recently expanded Emergency room, Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Gynecology inpatient and outpatient services, surgery and orthopedic care. St Lucie Hospital is also located in close proximity and maintains close collaboration with HCA Lawnwood Hospital, a Tertiary Care facility with advanced heart-, stroke-, and trauma centers.
The hospital is an accredited Chest Pain Center [American College of Cardiology], Stroke Center, Center of Distinction for Maternity Care [Blue Cross Blue Shield], and a Center of Excellence for Orthopedic and Spine services, and has received several Patient Safety Excellence Awards by Healthgrades.
St Lucie hospital maintains an excellent Family Medicine Program, with onsite faculty with FM Pediatric and FM Obstetrics specialization and a community-practice focused Emergency Medicine program. Due to the growth of its Family Medicine Practice, the FM program is slated to move into brand new expanded facilities by 2025. Hospital- and GME leadership are proud to deliver world-class education to its residents in both programs at St Lucie, in a collegial, supportive and collaborative environment that is focused on resident wellness/satisfaction and the success of each learner.
St. Lucie is nestled along Florida's Treasure Coast, about halfway between Miami and Orlando or Melbourne and West Palm Beach. The town has a more relaxed atmosphere than its larger neighbors and Its clean streets and neighborhoods are woven around scenic waterways and lush green golf courses. The area offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment and outdoor activities, and with its diverse population and great climate it is a fun place to live and work.
