About Orange Park

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital (OPH) is a 365-bed facility that is dedicated to improving the health of the diverse population of Orange Park and Clay County, Florida. Orange Park is located just south of Jacksonville in the northeast or “first coast” of Florida. Jacksonville is one of the largest cities by area in the contiguous United States and it straddles the St. Johns river with adjacent beautiful beaches. The hospital is equipped with all the departments and services required to provide high-quality patient care including, but not limited to: diagnostic laboratory and imaging facilities, 24-hour emergency room, a Level-2 Trauma center comprehensive cardiac care, inpatient and ambulatory surgical services, labor and delivery, and behavioral health. Recently, a new 100,000 square foot, 5 story, in-patient bed tower was added to the east side of the main hospital with new “smart” patient beds that speak 4 languages. In addition, a new 60,000 square feet medical office building (MOB) was opened immediately adjacent to the main hospital with modern patient exam and conference rooms and advanced imaging services. In addition, we have recently transformed an outpatient surgery center into a state-of-the-art simulation center located less than a block for the main hospital.
