LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is a 146-bed, general acute-care facility delivering comprehensive healthcare. Our specialties include a wide range of medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, orthopedic, emergency and outpatient services in the Southwest Virginia and the New River Valley. The hospital is located in Blacksburg, VA which is consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the US based on the abundant leisure activities, historical charm, and moderate climate. Situated between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny mountains, the proximity provides access to some of the best hiking, camping, rafting, and golfing in Virginia. LewisGale Hospital Montgomery’s Graduate Medical Education programs include residencies in dermatology, family medicine, internal medicine, and transitional-year programs. We also offer a residency in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and a sports medicine fellowship through our collaborative relationship with The Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM).
