    HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is a 204 -bed facility located near Florida’s nature coast in Inverness, Florida. Adventure awaits in the small town of Inverness, located in Citrus County, known for its lively downtown and court house square with a walkable, bikeable community full of great food, inviting pubs, and cozy shops. Just over an hour drive from Tampa and Orlando, there is a plethora of family- friendly offerings within reach. HCA Citrus Hospital and Citrus County is the perfect place to plant permanent roots. Since 1957, HCA Florida Citrus Hospital has been a vital part of Citrus County, growing into a regional powerhouse of the community. HCA Citrus Memorial Hospital has over 150 physicians and 1,000 employees offering a wide range of services including 24-hour emergency room care, heart and vascular surgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, minimally invasive and robotic surgeries and women’s services. Graduate Medical Education offers a state-of-the-art lecture hall, multiple resident lounges and work rooms on multiple facility floors, outdoor study hall spaces. The facility has plans to install a fellowship lounge as well as a new and improved SIM Lab in the Medical Office Building. Today, HCA Florida Citrus Hospital celebrates a more than 60-year history of healing and is the leading provider of healthcare in Citrus County and the surrounding area.
