Thank you for your interest in the HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM) Fellowship Training Program in Hudson, Florida.

We are very excited to announce our recent accreditation with commendation by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The HPM fellowship at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital is a one-year ACGME-accredited training program within the Department of Internal Medicine. Two physicians are accepted into the program per year.

With the objective of developing leaders in the field and ensuring that patients with serious illness receive expert and appropriate care, the program offers a variety of clinical rotations, educational experiences, and scholarly/research opportunities.

Working within interdisciplinary teams is an integral part of the HPM fellowship. Fellows have opportunities throughout the year to teach medical students, residents, fellows and interdisciplinary team members. This training program prepares physicians to competently work in both the palliative care and hospice setting.

We invite you to explore our website and encourage you to contact us with any questions about the program, or life on Florida’s Nature Coast. Applications are accepted through ERAS. We welcome applicants from a variety of medical backgrounds.
