We are extremely excited about your interest in our General Surgery Residency Training Program.
The cornerstone of any great academic surgical department is the strength of its general surgery training program and its surgeons. We have highly experienced and well-trained surgeons on our faculty at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital and our three sister facilities in which our residents train.
Our trainees will garner extraordinary surgical training and be mentored in patient safety and quality initiatives, clinical research and evidence-based practice principles, which will prepare them for leadership in communities in Florida and around the country.
We are also looking forward to an exciting future as we recruit new faculty members in general surgery and the surgical specialties who will be focused on your educational experience as our hospitals and program grow.
