The University of Central Florida/HCA Florida Healthcare GME Psychiatry Residency Program at HCA Florida Capital Hospital is committed to providing an exceptional training program that provides residents with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to patients suffering from a wide range of psychiatric illnesses/conditions.

The program provides a variety of clinical training sites to optimize learning experiences and offers outstanding didactics and active educational sessions. Resident rotations are divided into four week blocks to allow for diversity in training sites and faculty members.

Additionally, in light of the increasing burnout and stress that is common in postgraduate medical training, we have placed special emphasis on wellness and meaningful resident connections in our program.
