The program at HCA Florida Northside Hospital provides osteopathic medical students from American institutions with educational and clinical training in numerous areas of medicine. The program was developed to provide excellent educational orientation in clinical environments as a means to develop general knowledge in areas of patient diagnosis and management. Students will receive basic medical knowledge in diverse clinical areas.

Hours

7:00am - 7:00pm

Specific schedule determined by service. Students will report to the Hospital at 7:00am for Morning Report and Noon Lecture. Attendance is mandatory.

Patient care experience

The inpatient medical teaching service allows the students, with the interns, to take primary responsibility for the evaluation and management of patients under the supervision of a Resident and/or faculty member.
