How to Apply

Welcome from our team

Welcome to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program! We are an ACGME-accredited program that is part of the HCA East Florida Consortium with HCA Florida Northwest Hospital with its primary site in Margate, Florida, a Fort Lauderdale suburb. Our program supports four residents per year.

Our program's goal is to create compassionate, well-rounded obstetric gynecologists (OB/GYNs) that provide excellent care to the patients in their community. We accomplish this goal through didactic lectures, simulation, extensive surgical training, direct mentorship, and workshops. The residents will be part of multi-disciplinary teams that include midwives, nurse practitioners, fellow residents and physicians drawn from many specialties.

Training in this program will allow you to become a highly competent and skilled OB/GYN as well as develop skills to allow you to become a leader in the field.

Program overview

Our ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program located in Margate, Florida offers you an even distribution between obstetrics and gynecology rotations to ensure you will be well-rounded in both disciplines. Our gynecology faculty have a strong focus on minimally invasive surgery including robotic and conventional laparoscopy.

Our residency program gives you access to a Level III NICU that allows you to gain experience managing and caring for high-risk pregnancies. We also serve as a clinical site for the Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine and their medical students' OB/GYN rotation. This partnership provides you with an opportunity to educate a future generation of physicians.
