How to Apply

Welcome from our Program Director

This is an exciting time as you launch into the next phase of your podiatric career.

Our program has a long history with the first class graduating in 1976 under the leadership of John Buckholz, one of the founders of modern Podiatric medicine and surgery. Today, our residents experience hands-on learning in a wide variety of training opportunities.

As a PMSR/RRA program, we offer the variety and volume of case loads in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle procedures that enables you to reach your full potential.

My pledge to you as your program director is to provide the following:

  • Varied, diverse and informative hands-on opportunities to develop and grow as a foot and ankle surgeon
  • Exposure to a large panel of expert attending physicians that will support your learning in a variety of medical rotations
  • An intensive academic schedule to develop informed research, lecturing and teaching skills

I look forward to our journey together.

Best regards,
Brett D. Sachs, DPM, FACFAS
