Donald Eagerton

Dr. Eagerton is originally from Summerton, South Carolina. He received his Medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 1989 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital (Bowman Gray School of Medicine) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina followed by a Fellowship in Endocrinology at MUSC. At the end of his Fellowship, Dr. Eagerton joined the faculty of the MUSC Division of Endocrinology as a Clinical Instructor and later as Assistant Professor of Medicine. He also served as co-director of the MUSC Center of Thyroid Disease. Dr. Eagerton is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Dr. Eagerton, his wife, Jamie, and children, Thomas, Matthew and Rebecca reside in Myrtle Beach.

Alimitha M. Kodali, MD, Assistant program director

Completed her Internal Medicine residency in 2020. She completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism & Metabolism Institute, from the Cleveland clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH in 2022. Dr. Kodali's Memberships include the American College of Physicians, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and a member of the Endocrine Society. She joined Grand Strand Medical Center after completing her fellowship and is currently living in Myrtle Beach.

Matthew Crabtree, DO

Dr. Crabtree completed his fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Ecu Health/Brody School of Medicine, Greenville, NC. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine here at Grand Strand Medical Center, in Myrtle Beach. He obtained his Osteopathic degree at the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN. Dr. Crabtree is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, The Endocrine Society and the North Carolina Medical Society. He came back to Myrtle Beach and joined Carolina Health Specialist Endocrinology Practice in Myrtle Beach.

Jocelyn Myers, MD

Jocelyn Myers, MD is a native of New York.  She completed residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and fellowship training at Montefiore Medical Center. She has been in practice for 20 years and has a particular interest in emerging therapies in diabetes.
