Thank you for your interest in the Gastroenterology Fellow at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital, Initially accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education(ACGME) in 2017, our fellowship is a three-year training program.

The overall educational goals are to provide the fellows with basic and advanced biochemistry, physiology and pathophysiology.

These provide the basis for understanding gastroenterology, the opportunity to accumulate a critical mass of fundamental information and practical approaches for the diagnosis, management and prevention of GI disorders, and to acquire the technical and practical skills that are required by a consultant in gastroenterology.

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 450-bed acute care hospital, with a four-room endoscopy suite, an outpatient GI clinic and an outpatient hepatology clinic.

Our faculty and staff are committed to providing you with an excellent education and assisting you in achieving your career goals. We look forward to working with you.
