Welcome to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program at Florida HCA Blake Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Florida HCA Blake Hospital has served Manatee County, Florida, for 50 years. The Rehabilitation Center has operated as a CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) for 45 years.
We recently added to the HCA Florida Blake Hospital Graduate Medical Education department. We received our initial ACGME accreditation in April 2023, with the ability to recruit for our first class on July 1, 2023. GME at Blake Hospital includes established residency programs in Internal Medicine, Transitional, Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship, and Infectious Disease Fellowships.
PM&R residents will rotate through inpatient, and consults, and outpatient services such as Neurology, Orthopedics, Rheumatology, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Trauma.
Our program is integrated into a broad-based GME consortium supported by HCA Healthcare/USF Morsani College of Medicine.
