Stephen K. Richardson, MD
Program Director
Dr. Richardson has received multiple awards for his research pertaining to skin cancer and has been a recipient of the National Research Service Award. He has presented his work at both national and international medical conferences and has published numerous papers and book chapters relating to skin cancer and psoriasis.
Core Faculty
Armand B. Cognetta, Jr., MD
Dr. Cognetta is founder and president of Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, PA. He is also a Fellowship Director for the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, training one fellow each year. Dr. Cognetta is widely published and lectures on early detection of melanoma and skin cancer management.
Marc J. Inglese, MD
Dr. Inglese directs the residency’s Rural Health Clinics. He is dual board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Dermatology and sits on the Board of Governors for the Florida Medical Association. He specializes in dermatological care for adults and children, and internal medicine.
Imara Safi Scott, MD
Dr. Scott is a board-certified dermatologist serving the Tallahassee community and a Core Faculty member of the Dermatology Residency Program. She has a strong interest in addressing healthcare disparities and is committed to improving access to dermatologic care in underserved populations.
David Dolson, MD
Dr. Dolson is triple board-certified in Dermatopathology, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology. An award-winning dermatopathologist, he was honored with the Teacher of the Year award in Pathology at the University of Florida. Dr. Dolson also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Florida State University College of Medicine.
W. Harris Green, MD
Dr. Green, a Tallahassee native, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. He specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancer, with extensive expertise in skin cancer excision. Dr. Green is widely published and has presented at numerous national dermatology conferences.
Austin Miller, MD
Dr. Miller is a board-certified dermatologist with the UCF/HCA Healthcare GME Consortium and Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee. Originally from Gainesville, Georgia, he earned his undergraduate degree from Berry College and completed his medical education at Mercer University School of Medicine. Dr. Miller completed his intern year at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by dermatology residency training with the UCF/HCA Healthcare Consortium in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Miller has a strong interest in medical education and will continue his career as teaching faculty with UCF/DAT.
