The Program’s curriculum is designed to provide educational and experiential input from a broad range of specialty providers at HCA Florida Largo Hospital as well as affiliate institutions. The curriculum includes a core of didactics, which are modeled after the core competencies.

Orthopedic Surgery faculty, as well as members of other disciplines such as Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, General Surgery and other divisions within the Department of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, provide clinical supervision and teaching.

Training rotations are located in the various hospitals that are designated as affiliate training institutions including the HCA Florida Largo Hospital, Bay Pines Veterans Administration Hospital and other affiliate institutions.

The Program Curriculum also includes lecture series, conferences and journal clubs.
