Susana Ferra, MD, FCAP, FASCP
Program Director
Dr. Susana Ferra is the Chief of Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services at HCA FL Westside Hospital (Participating Site #1), Program Director of the Pathology Residency Program HCA East Florida Division and Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD). Dr. Ferra is Board Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) and Cytopathology. She completed an AP/CP Residency at the University of Puerto Rico and Oncologic Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Mohtashim Naeem, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Mohtashim Naeem is a board certified and fellowship trained pathologist. He is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical pathology as well as Hematopathology. Dr. Naeem completed an AP/CP Residency at HealthPartners Institute in Minnesota, Hematopathology fellowship at the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and later an Oncologic Surgical Pathology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Naeem was also awarded a specialist certificate in Anatomical Pathology and admitted as a Fellow by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC).
Mirza Baig, MD
Dr. Baig is the Chief of Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services at HCA FL Northwest Hospital (Participating Site #2) and the Broward Market Lead Medical Director. He is board Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical pathology as well as Cytopathology. Dr. Baig completed an Anatomical and Clinical Pathology Residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan, a fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology at St. John Hospital and Medical Center and a fellowship in Cytopathology at Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Alexey Glazyrin, MD
Dr. Alexey Glazyrin completed his Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (AP/ CP) residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY and hematopathology fellowship at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He is board Certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical pathology as well as Hematopathology.
Fatemeh Mousavi, MD
F. Rhana Mousavi MD, graduated medical school at Azad University in Tehran/Iran. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and a fellowship in Cytopathology at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Mousavi also completed a fellowship in Anti-aging medicine at University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Mousavi is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. She is an active CAP inspector and serve as the IRL Core Lab (Participating Site #5) Medical Director, Site director and rotation director for Clinical chemistry.
Jennifer Barker, MD
Dr. Jennifer Barker is the Director of Hematopathology and Flow Cytometry for the HCA East Florida division. She completed an AP/CP Residency and a Hematopathology Fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami. She is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomical and Clinical pathology as well as Hematopathology. Dr. Barker is the director of the Hematology and Molecular pathology rotations.
