Micheline Tantchou, MD, Program Director

Dr. Micheline Tantchou is board certified in family medicine with over 20 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, and inpatient medicine. She completed a family medicine residency in Saginaw, Michigan in 2009. She was a recipient of the Louis E Zeile Outstanding Junior Resident Award in 2008 and had the honor and privilege of being designated chief resident for the academic year of 2008-2009. She has served as a staff hospitalist since 2010 and has been at Del Sol Medical Center since 2017. She’s been a faculty member of the Internal Medicine Transitional Year Program since 2018. As such, she sits on transitional year committees and works closely with internal medicine and transitional year residents during their wards rotations while contributing to program improvement. As a clinician dedicated to preventive medicine, she participates in community awareness campaigns and international medical missions for underserved communities. She is dedicated to the mission of teaching residents evidence-based, patient-centered care. She became Transitional Year Program Director in January 2022. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her husband and 5 kids.
