The new Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at HCA Medical City Arlington is a community-based program designed to provide a patient-centric and evidence-based comprehensive training experience that prepares resident physicians to enter practice with skill and confidence. Our Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty are dedicated to combining the academic foundations of residency training with the "real world" experience of private practice to ensure every graduate is set up for career success. Whether you want to pursue private practice, academic medicine, or fellowship training, our residency program is here to guide you on that journey.
Over the course of our 4-year training program you will be exposed to all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology. The combination of nationally-renowned specialists and community physicians gives us the opportunity to tailor the residency experience to your career expectations. Residents work directly with highly experienced surgeons that allow us to provide an unparalleled experience in gynecologic surgery training. Obstetrical training will include rotations at the Fetal Surgery Center at Medical City Dallas, where you work with maternal-fetal-medicine specialists that are on the cutting edge of their field.
In addition to robust clinical training we are focused on the other skills necessary to succeed in the ever- evolving world of healthcare. Our resident learners will be exposed to areas like quality improvement, patient experience and population health in a manner that is relevant and applicable to their future practices.
