Dr. Patel joined faculty at Memorial in July 2018. He focuses on resident education with clinical interests in stroke imaging, Head and Neck and pediatric neuroradiology. Outside of radiology, he enjoys traveling, astronomy, cooking and gardening.

Dr. Brown joined faculty at Memorial in 2020 after completing a Body Imaging fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Dr. Brown was the chief resident at Memorial during the 2018-2019 academic year. His clinical interests include complex body imaging/intervention, oncologic treatment (including lung, liver and renal tumor ablations), and emergency radiology.

Dr. Helmly joined faculty at Memorial in 2014. He served as program director from 2015-2021. Dr. Helmly served as Chief Resident and Administrative Chief Resident. His areas of interest include resident education, complex body imaging, body/chest intervention and cardiac imaging.

Dr. Schilling joined faculty at Memorial in 2006 after completing a fellowship at the Barrow Institute. His areas of interest include vascular lesions, spine imaging, tumor imaging and head/neck imaging. He enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
Peter Britt, MD

Dr. Britt, a native of Ohio, joined faculty at Memorial in 2005. He currently serves as section chief of MRI. His interests include stroke, neurointervention, tumor ablation and cardiac imaging. Dr. Britt is a member of the stroke team and regularly performs mechanical thrombectomies.

Dr. Dixon joined faculty at Memorial in 2006. He served as the residency program director from 2012-2015 and assistant program director from 2006-2012. His areas of interest include resident education, musculoskeletal imaging, mammography and cardiac imaging including cardiac CTA and MRI. He is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology and is actively involved in the Georgia Radiological society. He is avid sports fan and is particularly fond of the Florida Gators.

Dr. Runyan graduated from Medical University of South Carolina in 2004, completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville in 2009 and did an MSK fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in 2010. Following 9 years of clinical practice in central Florida, he joined faculty at Memorial in 2019. His interests include joint imaging, sports medicine, MSK interventions, MSK US and breast radiology. He is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology. Family of four, tennis, surfing, Crossfit, and salt water fly fishing keep him busy in his hometown of Bluffton, SC. He maintains an educational twitter account (@runyanbr).

Dr. Burgner, a recent alumnus of this residency, joined the faculty at Memorial in 2020 after completing a fellowship in Musculoskeletal radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Dr. Burgner’s primary clinical interest include sports imaging and soft tissues neoplasms.

Christopher Hulsey, MD

Dr. Hulsey joined faculty at Memorial in 2005 and currently serves as the residency research director. Dr. Hulsey’s clinical interests include ultrasound and emergency radiology. Dr. Hulsey is responsible for “Boat Physics”, an annual boat-trip and party that is contingent upon the residents meeting their research expectations.

Dr. Nelson received her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and completed medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Nelson completed her radiology residency at Ohio State University Hospitals and her interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Dr. O’Kelley’s clinical interests include endovascular aortic repair, carotid and stroke intervention, pain intervention, and peripheral vascular disease intervention. Dr. O’Kelley is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, American College of Radiology, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, as well as an active member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Larry Horesh, MD

Dr. Horesh is a graduate of Yale University Medical School. He completed his internship and two years of training in general surgery at Washington University. He then completed his radiology residency at St. Louis University in Missouri and his interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Alabama. Dr. Horesh is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
