The Sarah Cannon Head & Neck Oncologic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program provides the comprehensive multidisciplinary training in all aspects of head and neck oncology to BC/BE candidates who have completed training in Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery and/or General Surgery. The fellowship combines the experience of five fellowship trained head and neck and reconstructive surgeons who combined have trained over 25 fellows of which 20 were accredited by the Advanced Training Council of the American Head and Neck Society.

Program Overview

The Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery Fellowship is a one-year program with an emphasis on the multidisciplinary and comprehensive care of the head and neck cancer patient. Advanced training in complex head and neck ablative oncologic surgery, skull base surgery, endocrine and salivary surgery, microvascular free flap reconstruction, cutaneous surgery and reconstruction and transoral robotic surgery remain the top priorities. This is an intensive comprehensive inpatient, operative and outpatient hands on program that trains the fellow to function independently in a high-volume center and provided the optimal care of the head and neck cancer patient from diagnosis through survivorship. The goal is to provide the most well rounded, broad-based and comprehensive care available.
