Carmen Wolfe, MD
Program Director
Dr. Wolfe is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Medical School. She completed her residency at UCLA, Olive View. She also completed a year in Beijing studying Traditional Chinese Medicine. Academic Interests: medical education, simulation, and ECG interpretation.
Josh Justice, MD
Associate Program Director
Dr. Justice is a graduate of UT Memphis medical school, and completed his residency there as well. He then stayed on as core faculty for his residency program. He was most recently the Medical Director for Regional One in Memphis and came to join our team as APD for TriStar EM.
Craig Sheedy, MD
Associate Program Director
Dr. Sheedy attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate education where he was a member of the NCAA National Championship diving team. He completed his medical degree at Vanderbilt University, then continued on as an EM resident at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After working for several years in Arkansas, Dr. Sheedy returned to Nashville to work in medical education with TriStar EM.
Heather Barnett, MD
Faculty Physician, Emergency Medicine
Dr. Barnett is a Nashville native and graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Medical Interests: Resident education - She is excited to train the next generation of EM residents in her hometown.
Nkemka Ezeamama, MD
Faculty Physician, Emergency Medicine
Dr. Ezeamama graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Carolinas Medical Center before joining TriStar Skyline. Academic Interests: trauma recidivism, intimate partner violence.
Marshall Hall, MD, FAAEM
Medical Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Hall is a graduate of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kentucky where he served as an Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Hall serves as our Medical Director and Chief of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, he serves as Medical Director for TriStar SkyLife - TriStar's air medical transport service. Academic Interests: Stroke Care and EMS.
Andrew Harrison, DO
Faculty Physician, Emergency Medicine
Dr. Harrison is a graduate of the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his EM residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, and now practices at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. Academic Interests: physician efficiency, medical practice in resource limited settings, EM Boards preparation strategies
Amanda Derington, MD
Faculty Physician, EMS
Dr. Derington graduated from East Tennessee State University, and completed EM residency and EMS fellowship at Indiana University. She was a faculty member at Vanderbilt for six years before joining our TriStar team as EMS Director and core faculty member. Academic Interests: EMS, tactical medicine.
Michael Hasty, MD
Faculty Physician, Emergency Medicine
Dr. Hasty is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency at Indiana University. He is currently the Chief of Emergency Medicine at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. Academic Interests: behavioral health, administration, documentation, procedural sedation, and pain management.
Michael Hayoun, MD
Faculty Physician, Toxicology
Dr. Hayoun is a graduate of New Jersey Medical School and completed his residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He then found warmer weather as he completed his Medical Toxicology Fellowship at the University of California – Davis. Academic Interests: toxicology, disaster, radiation, and addiction medicine.
Caleb King, MD

Dr. King is a graduate of West Virginia University Medical School. He completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident. Academic interests: procedural competency, ultrasound-guided peripheral access.

Dr. MacEachern graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Academic Interest: Point of Care Ultrasound
Joe Spinell, DO

Dr. Spinell is a graduate of Lake Erie Coll of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He serves as Associate Medical Director of Emergency Medicine at Skyline Medical Center and is a member of the TriStar Skyline Process Improvement Committee. Academic Interests: trauma care, quality improvement.
