Dr. Joshua Stringam

Joshua Stringam, DO, Program director

Dr. Joshua Stringam is passionate about teaching and Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Stringham is working with the residents and faculty to improve and expand services to patients, including Hep C treatment, full OB services, and complete female healthcare.

Dr. Stringam truly cares about his residents and seeks solutions to their learning and wellbeing. One of his beliefs is that preventative care plays a big role on the wellness of patients and residents.

Dr. Stringam grew up in Provo, Utah where he completed his undergraduate education at BYU. He later attended the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine (AZCOM) which is part of Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He completed his residency program at Duke University/SRAHEC in Fayetteville, NC. He is a plant-based trained doctor and has 9 years of experience in the health field.

Dr. Stringam loves to spend time outdoors with his wife and 6 children, “I love rock climbing, backpacking, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, surfing, snorkeling, and anything outdoors.”


Luisa Hiendlmayr, MD, Associate program director

Dr. Hiendlmayr is a 2011 graduate of Ross University. A native New Yorker, Luisa graduated from Hunter College with a BA in Biology in 2006. Luisa completed her residency at the University of Massachusetts. She has a strong interest in preventive medicine and pediatrics and is fluent in Spanish. Luisa enjoys teaching as well as biking and skiing.


Dr. Eric Bennett, MD

Dr. Bennett Graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2012. After this, his family moved to Vermont and he received a medical degree from The University of Vermont School of Medicine in 2017. In 2020, he completed his residency in Provo, Utah at Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Bennett is married with four children and enjoys listening to and playing music as well as spending time outdoors


Dr. Teresa Johnson, MD

Medical doctor/owner - Total Family Medicine in Idaho Falls, ID. I am a French major turned bank examiner and then medical doctor. Started my own family practice clinic from 0-4,000 patients. My goal is to provide personalized medical care in a friendly, non-threatening environment.


Dr. Derek Campbell, DO

Dr. Derek Campbell was born and raised in Heber City, Utah. He earned his undergraduate degree from Idaho State University and received his doctorate of osteopathy at the University of Health and Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Campbell’s residency training in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dr. Campbell and his wife, Marshae have 2 beautiful daughters, Abani and Aislin. Dr. Campbell is an avid wood worker and pyrotechnician.
