Welcome to the HCA Florida Aventura Hospital two-year clinical fellowship program accredited by the ACGME in April 2018.
HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 407-bed award-winning acute care community teaching hospital and Level II Trauma Center. Our program offers a robust learning experience in a friendly environment where the patient population is diverse.
Due to its South Florida location, fellows will have great exposure to travel medicine and HIV care. Additionally, our close interaction with microbiology, pharmacy and infection control will ensure proper training in antimicrobial stewardship and hospital epidemiology.
Our fellowship commitment is to provide the best possible education to form excellent ID Clinicians who are able to excel in whatever post-fellowship career they choose, whether clinical practice, an academic position or clinical research. We provide comprehensive clinical training in general infectious disease, orthopedic infections, trauma-related infections plus outpatient clinic experience in our very diverse community.
