Welcome to HCA Florida Osceola Hospital! I am delighted that you have chosen to join us as you continue your training. Our goal here is for you to become an excellent physician, excelling in your field and learning to care for our patients as if they were family. Originally from Rochester, New York, I have been in Graduate Medical Education for 33 years and moved to Florida nearly 12 years ago to start GME here. I love all kinds of music and enjoy DIY projects. I have two wonderful children and three beautiful grandchildren. On any given day, you can find me in my garden or exploring Florida with my husband and our dog, Zoey. I look forward to meeting each of you. I am originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Central Florida in 2000. I have two Bachelor Degrees—one in Community Health Education and the other in Nursing. I also have a Master’s Degree in Public Health. I started my healthcare career as a Health Educator & then after 19 years in health education and health care administration, I decided to transition to the field of higher education as a Director of Simulation and Sciences Lab for a university in Central Florida. I have been part of HCA GME since 2023. I love spending my free time with my twins, going to theme parks, sightseeing, traveling, cooking, and I am an enthusiastic collector of Mickey Mouse collectibles.

I am originally from Philadelphia and recently moved to Florida with my husband. I am excited to support and grow GME programs at Osceola.

I started my research career with Orlando Health. I spent nine years as the grant’s director for Orlando Regional Medical Center, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and MD Anderson Cancer Center. I was the research director at MD Anderson Cancer Research Institute in Lake Nona. I have over 25 years of experience in philanthropy, grants and research which supported all aspects of the medical community. Prior to this, I was the grants director for Osceola County Board of County Commissioners.

Originally from Guyana, I earned my business degree in New York and later worked as a Finance Manager in Jamaica for 12 years. I’m a proud mom of two and enjoy gardening, cooking, traveling, and beach sunrises and sunsets.
