Welcome to HCA Florida Trinity Hospital's Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program.

This is a four-year training program with a simple goal: create a welcoming environment where our residents will thrive and become exceptional radiologists.

Our four-year ACGME accredited program accepts six applicants each year and requires a preliminary year of Internal Medicine, Transitional Year or Preliminary Surgery prior to beginning Diagnostic Radiology residency.

Our program is designed to provide the optimal environment for training in Diagnostic Radiology and offers residents learning opportunities through participation in high-quality clinical practice as well as instruction by the faculty in regularly scheduled conferences and didactic lectures.

The clinical experience includes rotation through general diagnostic radiology and all specialty areas of imaging. Residents actively participate in both formal and informal intra- and interdepartmental conferences and presentations. This participation adds experience and insight towards future academic pursuits in radiology.

Using innovative teaching methods, well-designed didactic lectures and productive multidisciplinary interactions, we aim to provide our residents with the necessary interpretative skills set to become an integral member of the medical community.

Our collegial work environment emphasizes patient care and safety supported by effective communication between radiologists and referring clinicians to build a strong work ethic and high moral character. Contributing to the success of this program is our dedicated, diverse and vibrant faculty as well as supporting staff eager to help educate the next generation of radiologists.

Our goal is to graduate well-trained radiologists ready for competitive fellowships and ABR certification who will ultimately be able to enjoy successful careers in both academic and private practice settings.

We appreciate your interest in our program and look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Sandor Szilagyi, MD
