Neurology has been underserved in the community of greater Las Vegas for many decades.

I have worked in this community for a couple of decades and have noted the need to have more neurologist. I have had the privilege of starting both the Neurology Residency programs in the Valley.

The program offers inpatient Neurology training in both Adult and pediatric Neurology. It also provides extensive sub-specialty neurology training in an ambulatory setting in the field of Epilepsy, Neuro muscular disorder, sleep medicine, movement disorder, and muscular dystrophy, Headache, Multiple Sclerosis and behavioral Neurology.

This is the largest Neurology residency program in the state of Nevada, being part of the HCA Consortium and having the full support of Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center Administration, under the leadership of Alexis Mussi.
