Program overview
The psychiatry residency program at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is part of the Sunrise Health GME Consortium here in Las Vegas, Nevada. The psychiatry program is dedicated to furthering the HCA mission of commitment to the care and improvement of human life. We seek to achieve this through building a foundation of inclusion, compassion, and respect.
Initial accreditation was granted in April of 2019 and the inaugural PGY-1 class of 4 residents started their journey with us on July 1st, 2019. For the incoming class in 2020, applications will be accepted only through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) and participation in the NRMP (National Resident Match Program.)
