About our program
The Psychiatry Residency Program at Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is a proud member of the Sunrise Health GME Consortium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Rooted in HCA Healthcare's mission to deliver compassionate, high-quality care and improve human life, our program is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion, empathy, and respect.
Initially accredited in April 2019, our program has continued to grow and evolve—enhancing educational experiences, strengthening clinical training, and supporting resident well-being every step of the way. We are proud to match a diverse and talented group of residents each year, all of whom bring unique perspectives and a shared passion for psychiatry.
Our residents train under the guidance of experienced and committed faculty across a variety of clinical settings. They benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and lifelong learning.
We accept applications exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and participate fully in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
We believe our program offers a strong foundation for a successful and meaningful career in psychiatry—and we are excited to welcome the next generation of compassionate, curious, and committed physicians.
