Anesthesia Conferences occur weekly on Wednesday afternoons, residents have protected time off to attend.

Rotation schedule

There are 13 four-week modules in each academic year.

Each four-week module starts on Monday and finishes on Sunday. The first block starts on Monday close to July 1. Paid time off (PTO) occurs in dedicated blocks.

There will be one Anesthesiology elective during PGY1 and two during PGY4.

Elective rotations include but are not limited to:

  • Research
  • Chronic Pain Medicine
  • Regional Pain Medicine
  • Advanced Ultrasound
  • Palliative Care
  • PAT

With the program director’s approval, the resident can set up an alternative elective rotation.
