Jasprit Takher, MD
Welcome and thank you for your interest in our Internal Medicine program at Los Robles Health System in Thousand Oaks. Our program is a part of the HCA Healthcare GME family – the largest GME group in the United States.
We aim to create a balance between training, practicing evidence-based medicine, promoting research and ensuring resident wellness. Our focus will be to integrate our residents into our wonderful community, so we may provide excellent care to the communities of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
Los Robles Health System is a licensed 382-bed acute care facility.
Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, Los Robles is the only Level II Trauma Center in Eastern Ventura County and the only Emergency room in both Los Angelos and Ventura Counties with the coveted Emergency Department Approved for Pediatrics rating. In addition, it is the only hospital certified by both counties as a STEMI-designated heart attack center for rapid heart attack response and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Our goal is to provide an environment that promotes teamwork and values cultural diversity. Residents in our program will learn from a committed and talented faculty who are both excellent clinicians and dedicated educators. We prioritize the resident’s education and are committed to providing support to each resident’s professional and personal goals.
