Thank you for your interest in our Family Medicine residency program at HealthONE in the Denver Colorado area!
We are a vibrant program focused on developing compassionate, high-quality family physicians. We strive to train exceptional outpatient family physicians who are also skilled to provide inpatient, emergency, and obstetric care, all while maintaining maximum flexibility in rotation electives.
In addition, there are opportunities to tailor your residency experience to fit your desires in one of our tracks: sports medicine, maternity care, wilderness med, global med, POCUS, lifestyle med, OMM, and hospitalist. Our highly engaged faculty have diverse interests and skills including two with fellowship training. There are daily opportunities to hone your skills in OPP and OMM if desired.
The HealthONE Family Medicine Residency is a unique partnership between the HCA-HealthONE healthcare system, Rocky Vista University, and Cornerstone family practice. Rotations provide experiences at both Sky Ridge Medical Center and The Medical Center of Aurora. With our inpatient experiences in suburban and urban hospitals and our clinic in a more underserved area, we truly provide a diversity of patients.
Our program has weekly interactive evidence-based didactic sessions on medical topics, procedural skills, practice skills, journal clubs and physician wellness. All residents have a mentor to support their progress and assist in scholarly activity including presentations and posters at local, regional and national conferences, manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals and quality improvement projects.
