With the objective of developing experts in the field, and ensuring that patients with serious illness receive expert and appropriate care, the program offers a wide variety of clinical rotations, educational experiences and scholarly/research opportunities.
Working within interdisciplinary teams is an integral part of the HPM Fellowship. Fellows have opportunities throughout the year to teach medical students, interns, residents and interdisciplinary team members. This training program prepares physicians to competently work in both palliative care and hospice setting.
