Program Curriculum
Our Family Medicine Residency curriculum is designed to prepare residents to practice the full scope of Family Medicine upon graduation. Through a balanced combination of inpatient and outpatient experiences, residents develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings.
The curriculum offers broad exposure to both hospital-based and ambulatory Family Medicine while emphasizing hands-on procedural training and point-of-care ultrasound education. Residents have opportunities to develop proficiency in a wide range of clinical procedures and to integrate evidence-based diagnostic and treatment approaches into their practice.
In addition to the core curriculum, residents may choose an area of concentration to further tailor their training to their individual career goals and interests. These focused experiences provide additional opportunities for mentorship, advanced clinical training, and scholarly development.
Upon completion of the program, our graduates are well prepared for careers in outpatient Family Medicine, hospital medicine, and Family Medicine obstetrics, as well as for pursuing fellowship training in a variety of Family Medicine subspecialties. Our goal is to train adaptable, skilled, and compassionate physicians capable of meeting the diverse healthcare needs of the communities they serve.
