It offers an exceptional educational experience to train future leaders in critical care medicine.

Medical City Plano is a 606-bed tertiary referral center in Plano, Texas, just north of Dallas. As an ACS-verified Level 1 Trauma Center, it boasts a robust ECMO program, a Level 1 Burn Center, and a world-class neuro-critical care unit. These resources provide an outstanding clinical environment for fellows to gain hands-on experience and advanced training.

The Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex offers an excellent quality of life, with professional sports teams, renowned museums, theaters, and a vibrant culinary scene. For families, DFW features top-ranked schools, prestigious universities, and family-friendly neighborhoods. It's also home to some of the most affordable and fastest-growing communities in the U.S., with easy access to global travel via a world-class international airport.

Our program focuses on mentorship, academic excellence, and hands-on learning to prepare fellows for the challenges of surgical critical care. If you have questions about the curriculum, hospital, or the DFW area, please contact our program administrator, Tonya Whiteley.
