Emily Dubina, MD, FACS - Program Director
Dr. Dubina earned her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She completed her general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA, and subsequently pursued a surgical critical care fellowship at LAC + USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Dubina is board certified in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. In 2021, she joined Riverside Community Hospital as a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon. She also serves as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine.
Nicholas Sheets, MD, FACS - Associate Program Director
Dr. Sheets is a Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon at Riverside Community Hospital in which he joined in 2019. He received both a master's in public health and his medical degree from West Virginia University. His residency training was completed at Charleston Area Medical Center followed by a Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery Fellowship at University of California San Francisco/Fresno. Dr. Sheets is board certified in General Surgery, Surgical Critical Care and Neurocritical Care Medicine. He additionally serves as the Surgery Clerkship Director at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine.
Aaron Lee, DO, FACS - Associate Program Director
Dr. Lee received his medical degree from University of North Texas-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his General Surgery Residency at NYU-Lutheran Medical Center and fellowships in Advanced GI/Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatric and Hepatobiliary & Pancreas Surgery from Cleveland Clinic Florida. He is board certified in General Surgery. Dr. Lee joined Riverside Community Hospital in 2017.
