Riverside Community Hospital is conveniently located in sunny Southern California in the Inland Empire just east of Los Angeles and Orange County. We have been providing state of the art healthcare in the area for over 120 years. RCH is a tertiary regional referral center for STEMI, Neurointerventional stroke, sepsis, and the only level 1 trauma center in Riverside County. The hospital recently had a major expansion with a beautiful new tower increasing the total number of beds to 478. Our high volume, high acuity emergency department sees close to 120,000 patients per year.
Our program is an ACGME accredited one year program with 20 positions. We offer a very flexible curriculum with a total of five blocks of elective which will allow you to personalize the program to your educational needs. This flexibility will serve as a launching point for your medical career as you transition into an advanced categorical residency. You will have the opportunity to work alongside residents and faculty from the ACGME approved programs in Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Radiology.
