Jacqueline Phillips, DO

Jacqueline Phillips, DO, Program Director

Dr. Phillips completed residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. After residency, she began her hospitalist career and became involved in resident education. Her focus on community health and primary care led her to work at a Federally Qualified Health Center. She emphasizes improving resident education, recruitment and retention in the area.

Karim Nooruddin, MD, Associate Program Director

Dr. Nooruddin attended the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as a nephrology fellow. He is a clinical nephrologist and academic internist. He has a passion for clinical practice and holistic approaches. He has a special interest in pathophysiology and reliance on the clinician’s expertise. His hobbies include listening to podcasts, reading journals, traveling, and cooking.

Sudhakar Papineni, MD

Dr. Papineni attended Osmania Medical College at the University of Health Sciences. Since September 2005, he has been practicing as a hospitalist and been actively involved in the residency program. His passions are teaching and gardening. His favorite Corpus Christi hobby is fishing.

Dr. Brandi Addison

Dr. Addison received her medical degree from A.T. Still University in Arizona. She completed her residency at our program and in 2016 she completed her endocrine fellowship at UTMB in Galveston.

Dr. Manzoor Bevinal

Dr. Bevinal attended Kasturba Medical College and completed residency at St. Luke’s Hospital. He is passionate about high-value patient care and enjoys helping residents develop clinical reasoning skills.
