Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Training Program at Southern Hills Hospital Medical Center, a member of the HCA Healthcare Graduate Medical Education family.

In an historic partnership with the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) and supported by the Southern Nevada Infectious Diseases Society (an affiliate of IDSA), HCA Graduate Medical Education is proud to be the first ID fellowship training program in the history of Nevada!

This is an ACGME-accredited 2-year program sponsored by the Internal Medicine Residency at MountainView Hospital, part of the Sunrise GME Consortium. We recruit 1 fellow per year.

The fellow will be fully supported by the faculty and the excellent multidisciplinary team of pharmacists, lab technicians and infection preventionists at Southern Hills Hospital. The trainee will be more than well prepared to face the challenges of professional life, whether they choose to practice in academia or a private practice setting.

Our faculty are experienced academic infectious disease physicians who are passionate about medical education and adept in using data driven methods to diagnose and treat the wide spectrum of infectious diseases in adults. They are diverse in their ethnic backgrounds and life experiences, having trained in highly rated programs, and are committed to investing in forging the next generation of ID experts that care for a vibrant, diverse, and undeserved population.

Let's do it together!
