Welcome from our Program Director
Jacqueline Phillips, DO
Dear Prospective Fellow,
On behalf of the faculty and staff at the HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program, welcome! Thank you for your interest in our ACGME-accredited, one-year fellowship.
Our mission is to train the next generation of highly skilled, compassionate, and independent interventional cardiologists who are prepared to excel in either academic or private practice settings. We are dedicated to offering an intense, comprehensive experience that combines high-volume, state-of-the-art procedures with scholarly research opportunities.
Our fellows will engage in a broad spectrum of procedures, including complex coronary interventions (CHIP), CTOs, structural heart interventions (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman), and comprehensive mechanical circulatory support (Impella, ECMO).
We offer supervised, one-on-one training with dedicated faculty who are leaders in their field, providing a supportive environment to develop confidence and clinical judgment.
Beyond the CATH Lab, our curriculum includes specialized training in intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT), hemodynamics, and outpatient evaluation.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to clinical excellence, research, and improving patient care.
Sincerely,
Pranav Loyalka, MD
Program Director
