About our program
Research Family Medicine Residency is a 40+ year old 3-year ACGME accredited residency program in the heart of KC, MO. Our residency classes are 8/8/8 and we are an unopposed residency program for primary care at RMC. Our Sponsoring Institution - Research Medical Center (RMC) is a 590-bedded, Level 1 Trauma, CODE Stroke and CODE STEMI center. Core Pediatric rotations are done at Children's Mercy Hospital, a tertiary care referral pediatric center in Kansas City and most other hospital based rotations are done at RMC . Residents have their continuity clinics at Goppert-Trinity Family Care Clinic where we cater to 25,000 outpatient visits/year. Residents work in teams but also have their individual continuity patient panels to meet ACGME accreditation standards.
